Our Concept

“Olalima" is a word that expresses the idea of "the hands that breathe life into, the hands that revive, the hands that connect life to life.

“Olalima" also has the meanings of "Ola" (lifestyle) and "lima" (hand in hand, holding hands), which expresses the hope that people will connect, help each other, and value each other's connections in order to live like human beings.

Olalima values "Pono"~Balance. This means a balance between people, society, and one's own mind; a state of good mental, physical, and social well-being is a state of true health.

This is the three main elements of Lomilomi: BODY, MIND, and SPILIT, plus SOCIAL (social/societal).

We want to provide a place where clients are given the opportunity to reflect on themselves, draw on their positive abilities, recognize themselves, and be rehabilitated by connecting with society and others.

 “'I'o Nani" means "True Beauty" in Hawaiian. We want to pursue not only superficial beauty, but also physical and spiritual beauty…. 'I'o Nani expresses this desire.

Olalima by 'I'o Nani Day Spa provides the ultimate all-hand massage treatment for slimming, which was created by Ayako Murase with her 25 years of massage experience, and Lomilomi massage, a traditional massage that has been carefully passed down through the Hawaii Islands.

We also offer a variety of body treatments and Detox & Glow Facial that are unique to our day spa.
